Our Story
OptiTech (Optimal Technology), formally a division of Joshua Luis Enterprises, LLC, broke off into its own entity in January of 2023.

Originally founded in 2009, OptiTech is a complete IT Solution for small businesses. With our extensive background in the industry you will find we are capable of handling all of your technology needs! We are well-versed in a variety of operating systems, networks, and databases. We work with just about any technology that a small business would encounter.

Our founder & owner Joshua Luis Pereira is an experienced proactive and customer-focused small business owner with over fifteen years of experience and an extensive background in providing a wide range of services for a diverse client base. He started his first business back in 2009, to date he makes it a priority to treat every client as though they are family. He has built a group of businesses by applying the golden rule to each company… “do to others as you would have them do to you.” Today, his businesses are quickly expanding, and he takes pride in the relationships that have been built.
OptiTech is Josh’s pride and joy! Having a passion for technology from a young age, he loves combining his love for business and technology. As a child, he fell in love with computers when he took apart his mother’s Tandy computer from radio shack, he was 8 years old at the time! In high school, he enrolled in the Career and Technical Center in the Electronics Program. Before long he managed a small team of students on technical projects the school department implemented within the schools using the Vocational Students. While in college, where he earned his dual Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Justice Studies, he enrolled in an internship as part of his law degree at the Pawtucket Police Department, where before long they had him working in their Computer Operations Division. While in college, he opened his first company, Joshua Luis Enterprises, LLC, where OptiTech was a division.

Since 2009, Joshua has gained experience in both the public and private sector. Having worked for Public Safety (Police, Fire, EMS, Dispatch Centers), Schools, as well as the private sector we have quite the diversified skillset and can bring that experience to any small business.
